The history
of RIA Novosti dates back to 24 June 1941.
Every
day, RIA Novosti provides prompt socio-political, economic, scientific
and financial information in Russian, main European and the Arab languages
by means of electronic communications, internet, printed bulletins and
reference materials.
 RIA
Novosti offers news photographic information on a daily basis: the shooting
of the most important political events and all aspects of public and cultural
life in Russia.
The
"PHOTO-NOVOSTI" company is one of the largest of its kind in Russia with
a photo materials bank comprising more than two million colour and black-and-white
negatives and slides depicting all aspects of life in Russia and abroad
since the beginning of the century to this day.
